Reminders
1) Kapa Haka and Homework Centres as usual this
Wednesday. Ropu E is rostered for Kai any questions please
call Alice.
2)
Sports Photos these are today please make
sure you wear your uniform/s if you played in any sports team
and follow the photo timetable set for the day. Unnecessary
absences from class will be treated as truancy.
3)
Kapa Haka Live-In This Weekend just a reminder
Whanau of the Live In this weekend. Please check your rosters
as to who is on when. If you have lost your copy please see
Tracey or check the noticeboard in the main entrance of the
Whare. Reminder too that for the weekend you are not
bringing kai it will all be supplied; you just have
to turn up to prepare, cook and clean up &/or supervise.

Congratulations again to our First XV players who won the
final on Saturday it was an excellent win. Sikana,
Pat, Brad and Lifeimi have asked me to thank everyone who
came to the game to support them and to their fellow students
who performed a Haka after the game it was awesome.
5)
Thank-you to the Ropu co-ordinators who organized Whanau
and Students to attend Sundays clean-up at Ericson
- its never easy trying to ring around and get people there.
It was all done in 2 hours and I heard on the Radio that it
was the largest crowd they have had all year. Thank-you

ASB Polyfest DVDs A lot of people have
asked for the deadline to be extended so orders and
money needs to be in this Sunday. I will place the final order
on Monday.
7)
Po Fia Fia 2005/2006 DVD - This DVD is also still available
for ordering. The DVD contains performances from 2005 and
2006 the cost is $10.00. Orders can still to given to Whaea
Tracey.
8)
Subject Choices and Careers Evening - This was a successful
evening thank you to those who attended & Whaea Kau
for ringing all the Year 10 parents. A copy of the course
book will be given out today. Students have a week to start
exploring their choices. It is imperative that students make
their very best choice when the first option choice sheet
comes home!

these; Due Date: September/Mahuru 18th

Junior Course books and paperwork is being sent
home tomorrow.
3)
Wednesday Homework Centre this week all Y11/Y12/Y13s
will be attending an English workshop. Yrs 9 & 10 pangarau
have algebra work. Yr 10 have a tikanga a iwi assessment and
Yr 9s have tikanga a iwi homework to complete.
4)
Next Week Homework Centre all Yr 11s will have
a Science workshop with Miss Victor.
5)
Junior Parents Y9/Y10 please remember that your
tamariki should be reading at least 2 _ hours per week. This
needs to be logged on the slip which has been provided to
each student and then signed off at the end of the week by
a parent or guardian. Matua Neil does check these logs.
6)
Late Assignments please remember if tamariki
are late in handing in assignments they need to go through
the late process. Forms can be got from acting Assistant Principal
Heather Dikstall, the Academic Directors for Years 12 &
13 or Pa Chris.
