Whanau
there appears to be a real lack of urgency from all senior
students in terms of finishing off internal assessments (the
last day is this Friday) and using time wisely at school/home
to begin their revision in preparation for the upcoming exams.
Can I stress to you yet again that your tamariki should be
doing the following;
1)
Writing answers/essays to old exam questions.
2)
Rewriting/Summarizing class notes.
3)
Making Flash Cards. (Revision Cards)
4)
Making Mind Maps or Diagrams.
Note:
Re-Reading Books/Stories/Texts is not an effective study technique
and should only be done after the above have been completed
e.g. reading before going to sleep at night.
