Goal One
To attain the highest academic, cultural and sporting standards of student achievement
This will be achieved by:

improving boys’ achievement across all levels |

strengthening the academic culture of the junior school |

strengthening the organisation of sport in the school |
Goal Two
To provide quality teaching across all curriculum areas
This will be achieved by:

establishing structures and processes which facilitate staff professional development |

sustaining a focus on implementation of the New Zealand Curriculum |

utilising recently available learning technologies |

using assessment data to inform teaching and learning strategies |

improving teaching practice through appraisal processes oriented towards supporting the use of effective pedagogies |

To develop a safe, inclusive staff teaching and student learning environment
This will be achieved by:

raising awareness and developing ownership of WSC Safe School philosophies, policies and practices |

developing student leadership structures |

To provide a learning environment enhanced by up-to-date educational facilities and services
This will be achieved by:

providing students and staff with new and modernised teaching and learning spaces |

To strengthen school-home and school-community partnerships
