Parents Action Group (PAG) is one of the outstanding features of Western Springs College. An energetic group of parents, PAG serves as a forum for communication and parent involvement. PAG activities include arranging social events, working bees, parent education evenings, fundraising, and allocating funds to various college projects. Meetings are held monthly and all parents and caregivers are welcome. Meetings are low key and enjoyable. For more information, watch the College’s newsletters, ring the office, or check the website.

Marae Komiti meets the third Wednesday of each month. It includes parents and caregivers associated with Nga Puna o Waiorea as well as staff and board members.

Another parent steering group representing Maori mainstream student families also meets each term with the Associate Principal to develop and implement strategies for improving student achievement.
